Our mom has started a new tradition in our family, it's called the "special plate". Every dinner our mom chooses someone to eat off the "special plate". If you get this plate it means you did something "special" that day. What a great idea!! (the neighbors think we are freaks when they come to eat with us but still...)

I love that idea! I actually heard of this idea in my parenting class.....but I have yet to actually do it. So you have inspired me to go buy my own red plate. Maybe if I come to dinner I can use the red plate just cause I'm so special. haha.
Me too. I want to be special. That is a great tradition to start. You are so creative!
The best part is that plate looks like one I gave you!:)
