How can this be? Jaden is 16!
It's hard to believe he is growing up! We had such a fun day.
We let Jaden decide what he wanted to do for his birthday.
He said he wanted to take his Mom on a date!
Well....did i ever feel privledged.
We had a great time...went to get his driver's license first,
then off to dinner and then to a movie.
He was a perfect gentleman (he always is).
and get this.....
He didn't text once! WOW! I got quite the treatment.
Thanks Jaden....I had a great time!
You are a wonderful son. I have enjoyed these 16 years so much.
You make me laugh, you brighten my day, you bring joy to my life.

How fun! I am glad he put that cell phone away for your date...tell him he better do that on all his dates. Cause if you don't give the girl your full attention you might not get another date! :)

And Jen......whatever you are doing to raise these boys, you need to pass your secrets along. Any boy that wants to take his mom on a date for his 16th birthday has got to be a dang good kid. (not that you're not cool). I sure hope I raise my boys as good as you have!
