MY RILEY BEAR

I can't believe i forgot to post about Riley's Birthday! It was only one of the most important days of my life!!!!! Imagine.....15 Years Old! I LOVE THIS KID. There are so many great things about Riley. I could go on all day. I've always called Riley "My ROCK". But, If I had to think of one word to describe my Riley, it would have to be CONSTANT. He is definitely a STRENGTH to our family. He LIFTS me up when I am down. He always makes me SMILE. He helps me be my BEST me!

ISN'T HE CUTE?

I LOVE Springtime. Even though the weather has not been the most pleasant this Spring, it is still my favorite time of year. I LOVE bird watching. I think I must get this from my Grandma King, cuz I know she loved birds. Also, Big Sis Kohnie loves birds. I saw this little fellow in one of my trees this morning. I watched him for awhile. He was enjoying my bird bath too. I haven't seen him eat any bird seed yet. He flies from my tree to another tree across the street. Each time he leaves I say, "Oh no, little fella, come back to my house." It's funny cuz the dog keeps wondering who I am talking too.

APOLOGY!

SO.... this is a post in regards to "MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE", a post I made awhile ago. I was told today that this offended several people in my neighborhood. This was not intended to judge, but to express a pet peeve. I am sure we can all agree that placing judgement on others is wrong, and I am sorry if anyone felt that I was judging them specifically.

If you have your feelings hurt in anyway, please come and let us know so we can apologize.

And for those reading this blog to spread gossip, please simply STOP visiting our family blog! We didn't realize our blog had "secret" readers! We will definitely be going private REAL soon.

ISAAC has brought so much JOY to our family. We all get such a kick out him and the things he says. He hasn't been feeling the greatest lately and he fell asleep in our bed tonight like this.
Zeke, you are really growing up and you definitely have my heart.

WATER POLO

We went down south for a couple days to see Jaden and his team play water polo.
What a BLAST! If you've haven't seen a water polo game, you're missing out. It is action, action, action! Jaden did a GREAT job. And most importantly he has A LOT of FUN! GO PANTHERS!!

MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE

Do you know a parent whose kids are perfect (in their opinion)?
Well.....if you do, They.Bug.ME! I have met many parents through my parenting career, but i have met a select few who think their kids are PERFECT. Perfect, ya, Perfect MONSTERS! It doesn't matter if what they are doing is COMPLETELY wrong and done right in front of the parents face, they are still PERFECT in their CRAZY minds! I guess i would be one of those parents who assume too quickly that maybe my child could have done something wrong. If someone comes to me and informs me of something about my child, I immediately say, "What? Oh, they are in so much trouble." I KNOW my kids aren't perfect, and I expect them to make mistakes, afterall they have me for their Mom, i'm pretty imperfect myself. And to those parents who think their kids are perfect....THEY AREN'T! They are BRATS and need some discipline!
Oh......I feel better!

Just EXHAUSTED!

Have you ever been so EXHAUSTED you think you might fall asleep standing up?

That's how I have felt as of late! Just EXHAUSTED. Not tired, but EXHAUSTED.

So I guess my thyroid is having stress...enlarged and has some nodules.

So NOW...we get to have a biopsy! Isn't that exciting? Well not really, unless you have issues.

Well, I have ISSUES, but not those kind!

Anyway.....if you are feeling EXHAUSTED you might want to have your thyroid checked.

Better go......I'm EXHAUSTED!

ADVENTURES OF LACROSSE

Riley is playing Lacrosse. He LOVES it!

It's great to see him find his thing.

He has practice every weekday at 6 am.

So he is up at 5 am.

He has been very committed

and has a real drive for this!

BUT...............

WOW is it expensive!
